Issues and Options Youth Survey
Overview
We are producing a new Local Plan for Central Lancashire – which is the
area covered by Preston, Chorley and South Ribble Councils. The Local
Plan will guide where development should take place, along with areas
which should be protected from development.
When people want to build things like extensions to their homes or new
buildings, they often have to make an application to their local council for
planning permission. Those applications are judged against policies in the
Local Plan, which set out specific requirements.
At the end of this suvey there is the option to enter your email address if you want a copy of your response to be emailed to you. Please only enter your email address if you are over 18, or if have your parents permission to give us this information.
Why your views matter
We are carrying out this survey to find out what matters to young people
about their area. This will help us to produce a Local Plan that reflects
what is important to you.
There are 19 main questions in this survey, some with follow on questions.
Please answer as many of the questions as you can, but if there are
any that you do not want to answer just move on to the next question.
What happens next
Thank you all for giving us your views, this consultation is now closed.
We are now analysing responses which will feed into the development of what is called a 'Preferred Options' document, expected summer 2021.
